Born December 29, 1946, in Hampstead, London, Faithfull came from an aristocratic background. She rose to fame

in the 1960s with her ethereal vocals and captivating presence. Discovered at a Rolling Stones party,

she quickly became a defining voice of the era—and a tabloid fixture through her relationship with Jagger.

Her career faltered in the 1970s amid addiction struggles, but she returned triumphantly with Broken English (1979),

Beyond music, Faithfull acted in films like The Girl on a Motorcycle and Marie Antoinette, and appeared in numerous stage productions.

She remained artistically active well into her 70s, despite health battles—including a serious case of COVID-19 in 2020.

Faithfull leaves behind a legacy of haunting music, raw honesty, and artistic reinvention that spanned more than six decades.
