It was a hectic Labor Day weekend at Goodwill, and donations were pouring in non-stop. I was exhausted from sorting items with my co-worker Jenny, doing our best to stay ahead.
That’s when she showed up sunglasses, attitude, and a mountain of junk. She shoved to the front, dropped a broken vacuum at my feet, and walked off like she owned the place.
When I reminded her there was a line, she brushed me off and returned with even more trash an old TV, cracked toys, and broken appliances.
Jenny and I tried to stop her, but she laughed and told us to be grateful. “You should be thanking me,” she sneered. Then she barged into the employee-only area and dumped more junk on the floor.
