On the day our son turned 18, I received a call from an unknown number. To my absolute shock, a man’s voice said, “It’s time you learned the truth. You’ve been living a lie for 18 years. I’m your son’s biological father.” I was stunned. The man went on to explain that he and my wife had a brief affair while she was away on a work trip nearly two decades ago.
